Program Accelerates Law Career Paths
DeSales University has partnered with Widener University’s Delaware Law School to offer a new 3+3 program, allowing students to earn both a bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in just six years. This accelerated path provides a faster, more affordable route to a career in law.
DeSales students with a 3.0 GPA who meet the LSAT requirements for Delaware Law can apply during their sophomore year. Beyond the 3+3 option, the partnership also includes an Express or Guaranteed Admission Program. Students in either program are eligible for a $30,000 annual merit scholarship. The application deadline is April 1.
“This partnership reflects our commitment to preparing students for meaningful careers grounded in service and justice,” said Mike Ducey, Ph.D., dean of the College of Sciences. “The 3+3 program with Delaware Law offers a clear and affordable path to becoming the principled advocates our world needs.”
This program is an excellent opportunity for students interested in careers that make a real difference.
