Homecoming & Family Weekend 2025

DeSales University welcomed thousands of alumni, families, students, faculty, and staff back to Center Valley this fall for a Homecoming & Family Weekend filled with connection, celebration, and DeSales spirit.

The highlight of the weekend was the launch of Onward!, the University’s historic $60 million campaign to advance student success, academic excellence, campus facilities, and mission-driven initiatives.

From Hall of Fame inductions to alumni games, food trucks, and Frankie’s Fun Zone, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The chemistry department wowed audiences with its 20th anniversary of colorful demonstrations, while alumni gathered to honor five new inductees to the Student Life Wall of Fame.

A special dedication honored Fr. Doug Burns, OSFS, with the blessing of the Sport & Exercise Science Lab in his name. The event was marked by stories, memories, and a standing ovation from the many students, alumni, and colleagues he’s inspired.

The weekend concluded with an Alumni & Family Reception and a fireworks display that lit up the Lehigh Valley sky, closing out a memorable celebration of the DeSales community.
