Celebrating your culture's heritage at DeSales University.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs at DeSales University celebrates the various backgrounds, identities, and cultures that make up our community. Guided by the Catholic Salesian values of kindness, humility, and inclusion, we are committed to creating a welcoming campus where everyone feels valued and supported.

We work to build a welcoming environment for all of our students through engaging programs, helpful resources, and strong student support. Our goal is to foster understanding and connection among students while building a more inclusive future in the spirit of St. Francis de Sales.

Cultural Programs

We host events and activities throughout the year, including:

  • Black History Month
  • Women’s History Month
  • Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month
  • Jewish Heritage Month
  • Arab American Heritage Month
  • Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month
  • Accessibility Awareness
  • Native American Heritage Month

Resources & Support

We also offer affinity groups where students can connect with others, celebrate their heritage, and learn about different cultures. These groups provide a supportive space for students to share experiences and build friendships. Everyone is welcome to join, no matter their background.

Through our programs and student-led groups, we strive to make DeSales a place where diversity is embraced, inclusion is practiced, and every student has the opportunity to thrive.
