Biography

Mr. VanHorn joins the DeSales faculty in the Department of Sport and Exercise Physiology.  He is obtaining a Ph.D. in Human Functioning and Rehabilitation Science from the University of Vermont, holds an MS in Exercise Science from West Chester University, and a BS in Exercise Science from Shippensburg. 

Dr. VanHorn has spent the last 3 years as a lecturer at Norwich University, where he taught courses in Exercise and Health Science and maintained a strong undergraduate research program.  His primary research interests focus on the chronic effects of concussions on muscle activation and postural stability. 

Dr. VanHorn for the last 8 years, in his spare time, is a certified professional golf club fitter and builder for Taylormade Golf Company. He travels all across the East Coast to a variety of courses and PGA events, servicing all those golfers who need help.
